Mary Bondurant

A 28-year Sanibel Island resident and respected Realtor, Bondurant is known for her professionalism, integrity, and deep knowledge of Sanibel and Captiva’s unique market. Drawing from a background in hospitality and leadership, including 10 years of service in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, Mary provides clients with exceptional guidance, care, and results.

In 2025, she was recognized as one of the 12 Outstanding Women of Southwest Florida and honored as an “Inspired” Top Woman in Real Estate, celebrating her dedication and impact.

Bondurant is also the Founder of the SanCap Pink Project, Inc. – “Let’s Pink Out” –, a nonprofit supporting Islanders facing cancer-related challenges. She and her husband, Fred, are proud parents of two children — John, her Realtor partner at Kingfisher Real Estate, and Bonnie, a Lee County teacher. Serving Sanibel & Captiva with Integrity, Expertise, and Heart.

Tutor is a Florida native & mermaid whose roots run deep in the beauty of the Everglades and the coastal magic of Sanibel & Captiva Islands. Raised on a ranch on the eastern edge of the Glades, she grew up straddling two worlds — the rugged inland and the serene saltwater shores. Her family owned Gulf-front property on Captiva since the 1940s and split their time between ranch and island life.

Since becoming a full-time Sanibel resident in 2009, Valerie has remained passionate about the environment. An avid boater, angler, and diver, she is actively involved in her community. Valerie serves as a board member of the Sanibel Community House, a committee member at Captiva Island Yacht Club, President of her HOA, and secretary of the Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee.

She is a past board member of Captiva Chapel by the Sea, past chair of SanCap Cares, past president of both the Lions Club and American Legion Auxiliary Post 123, and holds memberships in several other civic groups.
