Kingfisher Real Estate announces Deb Stone and Pegge Ford have joined the team as sales associates.

Stone hails from Duluth, Minn., and has been a part of Sanibel and Captiva for decades. She first purchased investment property on Sanibel and procured her full-time residence in 1985, along with obtaining her Florida real estate license.
Stone possesses a strong background in accounting having worked for KMG Accounting Services Group in Minnesota and later she performed accounting services for the Bailey’s General Store. In Addition, Stone was the co-founder and successful operator of Sanibel Travel which included vacation rental services.
Her extensive knowledge of the vacation rental industry is unmatched. As a premier agent in the area Stone prides herself on strong relationships with her clients. Her ability to give guidance and recommendations based on her nearly 40 years experience is invaluable and greatly benefits all that seek her assistance.
As a cancer survivor, she has a deep appreciation for life and loves to help others realize their dreams. In her free time, Stone enjoys other facets of island living including being outdoors along with fishing and rescuing wildlife. Giving back to the community is also paramount. Stone is tenured, innovative, accountable, and a joy with whom to work.

Ford was born and raised in Mahwah, N.J., and after earning her degree from Marymount College of Virginia, she began her journey which spanned Retail Management, Hospitality Management and Real Estate. Over the years that followed, each journey was deep rooted in building relationships and maintaining those relationships.
Throughout the years, Ford found professional success in the Boutique and Specialty Department Store Management positions in Palm Beach, Beverly Hills, New York, Chicago, and Florida. One such promotion took her to Fort Myers, where she was introduced to Sanibel Island. Soon she called Sanibel home and began her hospitality career where she rose to General Manager, President, and COO of the Historic Island Inn Resort for 22 years.
She has also served on the Board of the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of the Sanibel Community Association.
The common threads throughout her lifetime have been the ability to listen to the wants and needs of the client, and the ability to drive sales and bring closure to that sale. Clients would describe Ford as dependable, detail-oriented, honest, respectful, creative and one who gives guidance during challenging situations.
Currently living in Gulf Harbour in Fort Myers, Ford covers the Sanibel, Captiva, and Fort Myers markets. She realizes that no one single approach is the right one for every client and works tirelessly for mutual success with candid advice.
Whether you are a first-time buyer or selling your home, Ford is a trusted resource to represent you and your property.
