Kingfisher Real Estate Announces Top Agents In December

Kingfisher Real Estate has announced its top agents for December. Mary Bondurant has been named the top listing agent and Sue Plein as the top selling agent.

Bondurant was born in Tipperary, Ireland. She and her parents settled in the Northeast, where she began her real estate career at the age of 18. As the owner of Dunedin Hotel in Beach Lake, Pa., Bondurant mastered her strong grasp on hospitality. Bondurant served in the U.S. Air Force and the PA Air Guard for 10 years.

Bondurant, a 24-year resident, has an unbridled passion for community and unity. Her areas of involvement are: Past Chair Woman of the Sanibel/Captiva Chamber of Commerce, founder of Let’s Pink Out Sanibel Captiva, organizer of our Island Thanksgiving Celebration, ABWA past president and Woman of the Year, a member of the Board of Directors for the Sanibel Historical Museum & Village, a member of Zonta, the Power Squadron and the Island Cotillion.

Bondurant’s ability to bring people together, laser focus and decades of real estate experience continue to award her as a power player in the marketplace.

Originally from Illinois, Plein and her family relocated to Southwest Florida in 1979 and she has been serving the islands since then. Plein began her career in the mortgage industry as a licensed mortgage broker servicing the islands. She was instrumental in the contruction lending within South Seas Resort as well as other developments along our area beaches.

Plein’s extensive background and passion as a licensed mortgage broker and in the vacation rental home industry on the islands lead to her real estate career in 2008. She also holds a Georgia Real Estate license.

Plein has the passion and excels in outstanding customer service and commitment to her new and long-term clients.
