The Sanibel Historical Village has recently announced that Kingfisher Real Estate Inc. will be a Bronze sponsor of its Historical Village Gala. The theme of the gala is “It Takes a Village,” and it will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Feb. 18, at the Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way.
The gala will include a buffet dinner and dancing. Tickets to the gala are $135 per person and can be purchased by calling (239) 472-4648.
“Being a lifetime resident of Sanibel, the preservation of our past is very important to me, and to all of us,” said Kingfisher Broker and Owner Phaidra McDermott.

The Sanibel Historical Village is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Full guided tours take place at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at no additional charge, depending on docent availability. The village is located at 950 Dunlop Road (next to BIG ARTS) and there is handicap access to the buildings. Admission is $10 for adults over 18. Members and children are free.
