Sanibel Police responded to a single vehicle crash as a result of the driver suffering a medical episode.
Officers determined 24-year-old Kenny St. Marc of Sanibel was traveling approximately 5 mph at the intersection of Rabbit and Sanibel Captiva roads at 6:12 p.m. Sunday, March 8, when the front of his vehicle struck a street sign and came to a stop against a guardrail. St. Marc was transported to Gulf Coast hospital by Lee County Emergency Medial Services.
Maria Perez, 59, Cape Coral, was backing her vehicle out of a parking space at the Island Beach Club on Saturday, March 7, when her vehicle struck the parked, unoccupied vehicle of Sharon Jacques, 60, W. Lebanon, N.H.
