Motorcyclist Airlifted to Lee Memorial

A motorcyclist was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 15, following a collision with a box truck.

Peter Lallas, 54, Fort Myers, was traveling east in the 1600 block of Periwinkle Way when traffic stopped for the pedestrian crossing and his motorcycle struck the back of a box truck operated by Alexis Nixson, 37, Lehigh Acres. Lallas was thrown from the motorcycle and he sustained injuries to his left leg.

Branden Burke, 27, Fort Myers, was backing up his vehicle in Alecks Alley, 2477 Periwinkle Way, on Friday, May 15, when his vehicle struck a parked semi-truck operated by Willie Stoveall, 61, Fort Lauderdale.
