Lee County will hold a public meeting on proposed Land Development Code (LDC) amendments at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2 at BIG ARTS, 950 Dunlop Rd.. At the request of Lee County, the public meeting will be streamed live on the City of Sanibel’s Facebook Live Page. This public meeting will be a continuation of the public meeting the county held July 13 at the Captiva Civic Association Hall.
Lee County will also hold a public meeting on the proposed LDC amendments at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9 at the Public Works/DCD Building, Large First Floor Conference Room 1B, 1500 Monroe St., Fort Myers.
The Lee County Board of County Commissioners asked that this public meeting be scheduled in response to stated concerns over the proposed Land Development Code height and density amendments that would apply to Captiva Island.
