Rotary Club Hears Lee Health Opening Walk-In Clinic on Sanibel

provided to The Santiva Chronicle

Justin Brand of Lee Health with Sanibel Captiva Rotary Club President Rachel Tritaik

This week, the Sanibel Captiva Rotary Club heard from Justin Brand. He is affiliated with the Lee Health Foundation, whose mission is to support Lee Health’s goal of delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare to the community by raising philanthropic funds. Justin had a big announcement that we were all happy to hear.

Thankfully, in response to community needs, Lee Health will soon have a Walk-In Clinic in the Bank of the Islands building on Periwinkle Way that will have three to four doctors to assist patients, including a pediatrician (if you have children, you understand how awesome this will be), six exam rooms, labs, and imaging machines.

While I am sure this benefits Lee Health, the benefits to our community are phenomenal and have been wanted for many years.

The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary meets at the Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, and on Zoom. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., the meeting begins at 8:00 a.m. For more information about Rotary, visit sanibelrotary.org. All are welcome.
