Because no one should face cancer alone. San Cap Pink Project, the nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the cancer-related needs of the Sanibel and Captiva community, is proud to announce the launch of Pink Harbor – a free, welcoming support group open to anyone touched by cancer.

The inaugural meeting will be held on Thursday, April 2, at 5:30 p.m., in the meeting room at the Sanibel Public Library, 770 Dunlop Rd.

Pink Harbor is a safe, compassionate space where survivors, caregivers, fighters, and anyone whose life has been affected by cancer of any kind can come together to share experiences, find encouragement, and build meaningful connections. While San Cap Pink Project has its roots in breast cancer awareness and support, Pink Harbor opens its doors to the full cancer community.

“Emotional connection and understanding are just as important as financial support,” said Grace Murphy Robson, President of the San Cap Pink Project. “We believe that healing happens by creating community, and Pink Harbor was created to make sure no one on our islands faces this journey alone.”

At each gathering, members can expect a warm, judgment-free environment, shared resources, and the kind of genuine human connection that only comes from people who truly understand.

Pink Harbor meetings are open to all Sanibel and Captiva residents and employees, as well as their caregivers and loved ones. There is no cost to attend.

First Meeting Details: Thursday, April 2, 5:30 p.m., Sanibel Public Library — Meeting Room, 770 Dunlop Road
