Due to COVID-19 restrictions, San-Cap Audubon’s iconic lecture programs historically presented live for decades at the Sanibel Community House will be presented as a series of Zoom Webinars at 7 p.m. Thursdays in January and February 2021.
Dr, Jerry Jackson, local wildlife expert and host of WGCU’s radio show, “With the Wild Things”, will kick off the series with a presentation focused on bird behavior. This year’s line-up also includes San-Cap Audubon lecture favorite Rick Bunting and a special joint presentation with The International Osprey Foundation by Dr. Alan Poole, noted Osprey expert and author.
To Join a webinar, on the scheduled date go to the Programs section of the San-Cap Audubon website and click on “JOIN” in the description for the specific desired webinar at or slightly before 7 p.m. or during the program. Program length will vary but is expected to be approximately one hour.
There is no charge to join the webinars. However, as the normal source of San-Cap Audubon lecture support was the $10 suggested attendee entrance donation for the live presentations at the Sanibel Community House, it is suggested that webinar attendees donate directly by mail to the address on the web site home page or via PayPal to: Paypal.me/SanCapAudubon. All donations will be much appreciated and after costs are used to promote conservation on Sanibel, Captiva and in Florida
