SanCap Audubon Announces Return of Saturday Bird Walks

The Sanibel Captiva Audubon is pleased to announce the return of Saturday morning bird walks in January. All walks begin at 8 a.m. with the first one on Saturday, Jan. 6 at the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Wildlife Drive. A summary of the January schedule is below:

Saturday, Jan. 13: Bunche Beach
Saturday, Jan. 20: “Ding” Darling Refuge, Wildlife Drive
Saturday, Jan. 27: Bunche Beach

For walks at the refuge, meet in the overflow parking lot on the left side as you enter. These walks will be car caravan tours. Bunche Beach is at the end of John Morris Road, Fort Myers, and requires a $2 per hour parking fee, which is paid with a smartphone. Wear shoes that can get wet.
