Sanibel Captiva Community Bank was the premier sponsor of the Randy Faber Memorial Golf Tournament held recently at The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club. The event honored the life and legacy of Randy Faber, a cherished longtime island business owner who passed away unexpectedly in September. Proceeds from the event benefited the American Legion Post 123 of Sanibel.

Faber, a 1980 graduate of Cypress Lake High School in Fort Myers, dedicated over three decades to serving the island community through his ownership of Sanibel Rental Service, which provided construction, mobility and vacation rental equipment. Known for his friendly presence and active participation in local golf tournaments, he was a beloved figure on the island.

Founded in 2003, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has nine locations open throughout Lee County. On Fort Myers Beach, the bank is operating a temporary office open on Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., while its permanent full-service branch is under development.
