The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club will host its annual PFP golf tournament March 26. The PFP Committee is very appreciative the Sanibel Captiva Community Bank will again be a major sponsor for this event with a donation of $2,000. Their sponsorship will underwrite the virtual auction which last year raised more than $12,000.

With sincere thanks to all the local sponsors and underwriting from The Estee Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign, 100 percent of the funds raised from the auction and the golf tournament are donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The BCRF is the highest rated breast cancer charity in the U.S.

“For 19 years charitable giving has been part of our company culture at SanCap Bank, and we’re pleased to support Play for Pink again this year,” said SanCap Community Bank CEO Craig Albert.

Committee members are currently visiting local restaurants, shops and businesses soliciting items for the virtual auction. In the week leading up to the golf tournament, bidders can preview the auction items starting Saturday, March 19. Bidding goes live March 23 and will close at 6 p.m. on the day of the tournament, March 26. To view the auction, click here.

One-hundred-twenty-eight golfers will tee-off at 8:30 a.m. Players will purchase mulligans, raffle tickets, pay-the-pro tickets and participate in putting and closest-to-the-line contests. Prizes will be awarded to the first place men’s, ladies, and mixed teams. New for 2022 is the Helicopter Ball Drop; chances can be purchased online.
