The Sanibel-Captiva Shell Club announced the 2025 Sanibel Shell Show will return March 6-8 at the Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, Fort Myers. The club reported a robust positive response to the venue last year, which offered 15,000 linear feet of competitive exhibits and more than 50 vendors.
The club has chosen next year’s artistic and scientific judges, and special events are in the works. The show will feature several shell art pieces and exhibits in the expansive space. It will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 6 and Friday, March 7, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 8.
Sanibel-Captiva Shell Club President Laurie Jensen and Membership Chairperson Kathy Hofstad co-chair the Shell Show. The club awards grants from the show’s proceeds.
The grants are given for education and research in conchology and malacology, as well as conservation and water quality projects, primarily in Southwest Florida.
