FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is offering a complimentary luncheon seminar featuring Damyanti “Rani” Gupta, the first degreed female engineer for Ford Motor Co., mother of neurosurgeon and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta and American Express podcaster Suneel Gupta. She will speak about her life story and being a woman in a male-dominated industry.
Gupta and The Trust Company will also cover generational gifting, both through wisdom and finance. The event will be Thursday, March 30th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Robb & Stucky, 13170 S. Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers. Gupta will be interviewed by Rachel Pierce, former NBC2 news anchor and owner of the Sanibel business, Rachel Pierce Art Gallery.
“It’s not easy being the first of anything or to be a pioneer of progress for women in the workforce,” said Carolyn C.
