Sanibel Hurricane Passes Issued At New Location On Veteran’s Day

Updated on Friday, Nov. 10: After suspending the issuance of Hurricane Reentry Passes on Thursday, Nov. 10 due to Hurricane Nicole, the City of Sanibel will issue passes from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 at 7910 Summerlin Lakes Dr. Although the city is closed Friday in observance of Veteran’s Day, a small group of staff will be at the temporary location to issue passes as a make-up day from the storm. Regular hours will resume Monday, Nov. 14.

Originally published Tuesday, Nov. 8: The City of Sanibel announced effective today, Nov. 8 hurricane reentry passes and business tax receipts will no longer be issued at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. BTRs and passes can be obtained from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at a temporary location, The Title Group of Fort Myers office, 7910 Summerlin Lakes Dr.
