The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation is offering sponsorships for the nonprofit’s annual Wines in the Wild event, held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13. This highly anticipated event is a fall tradition celebrating community and conservation. It also serves as a welcome-back gathering to kick off the island’s fall season.
Guests stroll the grounds of SCCF’s Bailey Homestead Preserve while sipping wines specially selected for the evening. Top island chefs from Cielo, Tutti Pazzi, Catering by Leslie Adams, ‘Tween Waters Inn, BRGR, and Pinocchio’s will offer delectable food pairings to complement the wine tastings.
Launched in 2008 by Linda and Tom Uhler, Wines in the Wild is an outdoor event for new and returning island residents to meet like-minded neighbors and SCCF leadership.
“It’s a great way to experience the warmth of our community and support SCCF’s historic role in protecting and caring for our coastal ecosystems,” said Linda Uhler.
