As South Seas continues to evolve, the resort has expanded its watersports offerings with the addition of jet skis and tours, a welcome addition to the resort’s robust watersports activities program.
Located along the sandy beaches of Captiva Island with access to the Gulf of America, South Seas provides resort guests and owners with Club Captiva access with a variety of activities to get them even closer to the shimmering waters of the Gulf. From exhilarating jet ski rides to relaxing paddle board adventures, there’s something for everyone.
Current self-guided activities include $50 paddle board or single kayak rentals for a relaxing day on the water as you navigate peaceful mangroves, gentle waves and wildlife-rich waterways. Swimming alongside vibrant marine life offers an unforgettable way to immerse yourself in the beauty of these pristine waters.
South Seas also offers eco-friendly, guided tours, including WaveRunner tours that start at $350 and feature a three to four-hour guided adventure, as well as new tours aboard one of the resort’s seven jet skis.
For those interested in a relaxing, scenic excursion, South Seas offers several cruise options, including a trip to Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island; a lunch cruise to the classic “old-Florida” hideaway, Cabbage Key; a 90-minute Dolphin & Wildlife Cruise; a picturesque Useppa Island Cruise; and a Wildlife Sunset Cruise with a view of Southwest Florida’s birds, dolphins and other wildlife found in the Pine Island Sound. The resort’s Beach and Shelling Cruise takes resort guests around Southwest Florida’s beaches for sun, fun, shelling and more. Boat rentals and fishing charters are available through self-led or curated adventures.
Additionally, Yacht Harbour and Captiva Landing Marina are now open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering fuel services, electricity, bait, ice and snacks for boaters.

“As South Seas continues to evolve”?! South Seas is causing Captiva to devolve. I’m shocked at the Chronicle’s support of this project. …and the “Gulf of America”?! Spare me!
