Summer Hours Begin May 1 at Sanibel Historical Village

The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village switches to off-season, summer hours Tuesday, May 3. Summer hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. These hours remain in effect until the museum closes in August.

The museum closes starting Aug. 1 and reopens Oct. 18, on regular full-time hours, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village is a nonprofit organization formed with the mission to preserve, share, and celebrate Sanibel’s history. The Village is located at 950 Dunlop Road (next to BIG ARTS). Admission is $10 for adults 18 and older; those under 18 and members are free. Docent-guided tours take place at 10:30 depending on docent availability. There is handicap access at the Village.
