The Bell Team Sponsoring Historical Village Gala

The Sanibel Historical Village has recently announced that Karen Bell and The Bell Team will be a Silver sponsor of its Historical Village Gala. The theme of the gala is “It Takes a Village,” and it will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way.

The gala will include a buffet dinner and dancing. Tickets to the gala are $135 per person and can be purchased by calling (239) 472-4648.

“I love the historical buildings on Sanibel, and as I live in one, I have always been drawn to the Historical Village,” said Karen Bell. “I want to support it.”

So far, this year’s business sponsors also include: The Island Sun, Times of the Islands, Bank of the Islands, Breeze Newspapers (Islander, Island Reporter, Captiva Current), Island Yacht Sales, Congress Jewelers, The Grog Shop, Kingfisher Real Estate Inc., VIP Realty, Karen Bell & The Bell Team, John Grey Painting, and Captiva Cruises.

The Sanibel Historical Village is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Full guided tours take place at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at no additional charge, depending on docent availability. The village is located at 950 Dunlop Road (next to BIG ARTS) and there is handicap access to the buildings. Admission is $10 for adults over 18. Members and children are free.
