The Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation will host its final cruise to support water quality this season with deep grooves by the Jon Stickley Trio from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday March 10 aboard Captiva Cruises’ Lady Chadwick.
As a perfect compliment to the chill vibe of being on the open water at sunset off the coast of Captiva, the instrumental trio will deliver guests deeply into the moment. With an incredibly distinctive and genre-defying sound, the Asheville-based Jon Stickley Trio has earned rave reviews for its singular style.

“With Lost at Last, the Jon Stickley Trio combines the ethos of a newgrass power trio with the energy and dynamics of a runaway train. Stickley’s powerful flatpicking gathers influences from the greats such as Tony Rice, but also allows for other, more modern, sounds to creep in. ‘Darth Radar’ is a rapid-fire take that moves from a serious ska beat to burning surf-style runs that would make Dick Dale proud.” — Premier Guitar, Jason Shadrick
The Lady Chadwick will embark from McCarthy’s Marina and cruise across the amazing and expansive waters of Pine Island Sound up to Redfish Pass. It’s a great way to support SCCF’s research and advocacy on the waters it protects.
Guests will be treated to light bites and an initial complimentary cocktail, all included in the $100 ticket price. Purchase tickets here.
