Trust Co. Continues Support of Island Wildlife Through ‘Wild About CROW’

The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is continuing its longstanding commitment to environmental stewardship by announcing its sponsorship of the annual “Wild About CROW” fundraising event, which is set for Friday, Jan. 26 in Fort Myers.

Wild About CROW benefits the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW), a teaching hospital working to save wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education, and conservation medicine. Last year, CROW cared for over 6,000 wild patients. This year, the event is expanding to include supporters unable to attend in person through the creation of a virtual silent auction.

Because of the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian, CROW’s Sanibel campus is still undergoing rebuilding efforts, which will be supported by the funds raised at Wild About CROW. “We are so proud of the dedication of the CROW team for continuing their care for local wildlife while still undergoing repairs. We’re honored to sponsor again this year,” said Jeff Muddell, Sanibel Office President.

Wild About CROW will take place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 26 at the Burroughs Home and Gardens, 2505 First St. in downtown Fort Myers. The gala features a cocktail hour, dinner reception, appearances by CROW’s Animal Ambassadors and fun surprises. Tickets are available online here.
