Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff has announced the return of the Bank’s post-Ian Thankful Tuesday promotion to mark the Thanksgiving holiday.

On Tuesday, Nov. 21, islanders are encouraged to stop by the bank’s Sanibel lobby with canned food and dry goods for our island neighbors in need. In addition to their food pantry donations, the first 25 donors to the F.I.S.H. food basket will have a $100 bank donation made in their name with a personal message they can provide… so come by early.

“One of the pillars of our community is the commitment to providing social services for our fellow islanders, especially those needing extra help during the holidays,” said Roepstorff. “Having F.I.S.H. ready and able to serve is so important for our islands. It’s our honor to spotlight their good work on this Thankful Tuesday and throughout the year.”

All are invited to share in light refreshments and neighborly conversation during this Thankful Tuesday event.
