Crews Respond to Cooking Fire; Log 33 Additional Runs

Sanibel Fire & Rescue crews responded to a fire Sunday, Dec. 26 caused by food burning inside an oven, which resulted in no damage to the property. Crews logged 33 additional runs from Dec. 23 to Dec. 29:

Medical related, including EMS: 17
Spills and leaks: 1
Electrical issues: 1
Public service assistance: 7
Canceled en route: 3
Unintentional alarms: 4
