CROW Welcomes New Veterinary Assistant

The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife recently welcomed Abigail Berkowitz as a veterinary assistant at its wildlife hospital on Sanibel Island. Berkowitz joined CROW in July, bringing experience in wildlife rehabilitation and veterinary care.

Berkowitz earned a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology from the University of Vermont. Their wildlife experience includes internships with the Bird Alliance of Oregon Wildlife Care Center in Portland, Oregon, and the Macaw Recovery Network in Costa Rica. Abigail has also worked in small animal and exotic veterinary medicine.

In their new role at CROW, Berkowitz will help provide care for sick, injured, and orphaned Florida native and migratory wildlife patients.
