As a courtesy to the customers at its Bank of the Islands offices on Sanibel and Captiva, as well as its two Fort Myers offices, Edison National Bank will be open on Monday, Oct. 10 despite it being a federal banking holiday.
“Although Monday is a legal bank holiday, we want to honor our commitment to serve our customers’ banking needs,” said Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “With all the concerns facing our community as we begin our post-Ian recovery, access to your community bankers should not be among them.”
The Edison office at 13000 S. Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers is across from the Bell Tower on Route 41. That office will have limited lobby and drive-up services on Columbus Day. Drive-up services will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lobby services will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This information is also posted at www.edisonnationalbank.com and www.bankoftheislands.com.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary as the oldest locally owned and managed community bank in Lee County, Edison National Bank has a longstanding and demonstrated commitment to its Southwest Florida neighbors and customers.
