Kiwanis Club Announces Diner’s Delight Coupon Booklets Coming Soon

As Sanibel and Captiva businesses continue to recover from the damage caused by recent storms and flooding, the Islands’ restaurants are on tap to receive a much needed boost. The Kiwanis Club’s popular “Diner’s Delight” Restaurant Coupon Booklets will be available starting April 15. Booklets will be on sale at numerous Island banks and businesses, or from any Kiwanis member, for a $40 donation.

Coupons can be used from May 1 through mid-December for significant savings at participating establishments, and for those who enjoy eating out the savings can be significant…making the booklet a great value. Just as important, the coupons are a great help to participating restaurants rebounding from the storms, as they encourage Islanders and visitors to enjoy their favorite places more often and to try new places as well. This year, the coupon program is more important than ever as dining establishments get back to normal following hurricane recovery.

Said Club President Emily Ankerson, “Our Club’s mission is community service, and we believe it is vitally important to all of us to help build back our local business community as much as we can. This year more than ever, we’re encouraging folks to support the businesses that support the Islands.”

The list of establishments participating in the 2025 Booklet is still being developed, as businesses re-open, and any wishing to be added to this year’s booklet should contact Kiwanian Dave Essig who manages the program (Phone: 315-391-6230). The 2024 participants included: GREEN FLASH, ROSALITA’S, THE SHACK, DOC FORD’S, BOOP’S BY THE BUBBLE ROOM, SANIBEL DELI, CIELO, R.C. OTTERS’S, SUNSHINE SEAFOOD, THE TIMBERS, MUDBUGS, SANIBEL CAFÉ, THE DUNES, JERRY’S CAFÉ, THE SHIPYARD, TUTTI PAZZI AND GRAMMA DOT’S.

The Kiwanis Club uses the funds raised by the Diner’s Delight program, along with its annual Spaghetti Dinner and the King Of The Rock Golf Tournament, to support its numerous community service programs. These include educational, recreation and wellness grants to deserving organizations, and sustaining the Club’s long running scholarship program.
