The Sanibel Fire & Rescue District has officially determined the cause of a Friday morning fire at a condominium on East Gulf Drive to be an accidental electrical fire. Firefighters responded to 503 E. Gulf Drive at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13 and had to knock out part of the exterior wall to put out the flames. Sanibel Fire Chief Bill Briscoe said that made it a “difficult” fire to fight. No injuries were reported.
