Nearly 100 attended the SanCap Catholics’ breakfast meeting at the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ on Ash Wednesday, February 26th. After breakfast entertainment by pianist, Scott McDonald, the new autonomous Catholic group announced the nominations for its new board. Guest speaker, Pastor John Danner, capped-off the morning with a Lenten reflection discussing the importance of silence in one’s life, suggesting that Christians consider giving up ten minutes of noise each day this Lenten Season to “listen for God.”
