Sanibel Bike Club Rides The Legacy Trail, Casey Key

provided to The Santiva Chronicle

The Sanibel Bike Club traveled to Venice Jan. 12 for an off-island ride. Members rode various distances up to 52 miles, starting from the historical Venice train station to the end of the trail and back. Everyone met for lunch at Pinchers before heading out again to explore Casey Key. Members appreciated being together biking in the beautiful sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

The Sanibel Bike Club is a group of cycling enthusiasts at all levels of ability. The club always welcomes new members to share its on- and off-island rides and its monthly potlucks.  Detailed information about the Club and how to join is available at the club’s website. Join them on their next trip Feb. 10, when they will be taking the Lady Chadwick boat to ride around Boca Grande.
