Sanibel Bike Club Rides the Legacy Trail in Venice

Riders from the Sanibel Bike Club traveled to Venice March 10 for an off-island trip to ride the Legacy Trail. Members rode either a 22 or 31 mile route starting from the historical Venice train station to the end of the trail and back ending up at Pinchers for lunch. Everyone enjoyed being together biking in the beautiful sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

The Sanibel Bike Club is a group of cycling enthusiasts at all levels of ability. The club always welcomes new members to share its on- and off-island rides and its monthly potlucks. Detailed information about the club and how to join is available at sanibelbicycleclub.org. The club’s next off-island ride on April 17 and 18 to ride the Withlacoochee Trail in Inverness.
