Sanibel Captiva Trust To Examine SWFL’s Past, Present, Future at April 4 Event

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company’s final event of its 2023 Fort Myers Speaker Series will address “The Past, Present and Future of Southwest Florida.”

The April 4 event will be led by Aysegul Timur, vice president and vice provost for strategy and program innovation at Florida Gulf Coast University. Timur, who also is a member of FGCU’s Regional Economic Research Institute, will cover Southwest Florida from the perspectives of demographics, economics, employment and economic opportunities, education and more.

“Global and domestic events are affecting the local community in a big way,” said Megan Marquardt, CFP®, CTFA, Wealth Services Advisor, The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company. “It’s important to know what’s on the horizon.”

The complimentary event will be at the Event Center, 1901 Brantley Road, Suite 7, in Fort Myers, and begins with a continental breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and a 10 a.m. program.
