Candidate qualifying for the Special Election for Sanibel City Council begins at noon Monday, March 25, and ends at noon Friday, March 29, 2024. Any elector wishing to become a certified candidate must make an appointment with the City Clerk to begin the process. The City Clerk may be contacted via email at scotty.kelly@mysanibel.com or by calling 239-472-3700. The Special Election for City Council member will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Voting locations are the Sanibel Recreation Center (Precinct 116) and the Sanibel Community House (Precinct 105).
