The Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market is set to return for its 16th season in October at Sanibel City Hall, 800 Dunlop Rd. The market, open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays, promises to be a delightful haven for locals and visitors, offering an array of fresh produce, baked goods, flowers and a variety of local treats.
The Sanibel Farmer’s Market has always been a highlight of the community as a place to support local businesses and connect with neighbors. This year, especially, the market holds even greater significance as the community continues to recover from the aftermath of Hurricane Ian in September 2022.
Attendees can expect to find an impressive selection of fruit, vegetables, breads, honey, plants, unique crafts and ready-to-eat meals.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market,” said Jean and Betsy, organizers of the market. “After the challenges we’ve faced this year, this market serves as a testament to the strength of our community. It’s a place where we can come together, support local businesses and enjoy the bounties of our beautiful island.”
