Sanibel Fire & Rescue responded to an outside rubbish fire on Friday, April 22 and logged 35 additional calls through Thursday, April 28:

Medical related, including EMS: 22
Electrical wiring, equipment issue: 1
Service call: 1
Pubic service assistance: 1
Canceled en route: 7
False alarms: 1
System or detector malfunction: 1
Unintentional alarm: 1
