Celebrating the opportunity to gather en masse for the first time since 2019 with clients and friends, The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company welcomed more than 240 guests to Thursday’s Spring Celebration. The event is normally held every April in appreciation of Trust Company clients’ confidence and friendship, as well as the partnerships of nonprofits and community leaders on the islands and Lee County area.
Against the backdrop of The Gulf of Mexico, the elegant tent on Casa Ybel’s gulf front lawn was teeming with a record number of clients, friends, community, and philanthropic leaders eager to enjoy each other’s company, as many will head north for the summer. “This particular party is very special to us this year,” said Founder and Chairman, Al Hanser. “This last hurrah of the season has become a cherished tradition for both our team members and our clients and guests. We are especially grateful for everyone’s flexibility, creativity and tenacity during the height of the pandemic. It was important to us that under the circumstances we stayed true to our Mission and client expectations over the last two and a half years.”
Danny Morgan’s “Thank You for The Dance Entertainment” once again provided multi-talented musician, Mark Dupuy played the steel pan and flute, while guests enjoyed Casa Ybel’s abundant appetizers and generous cocktails. Over the summer, The Trust Company team continues to serve local clients who live here year-round and makes frequent trips north to visit with clients and their families while out of the area.
